Safely fixing the problem without guesswork
Every issue is different. Our process stays the same: gather evidence, create a restore point, make targeted changes and check the live site.
1. Initial assessment and urgency
We collect the error message, impact, timing and recent changes. This helps us distinguish a complete outage from a local or functional issue.
2. Diagnosis
We check only what’s relevant and support our conclusions with technical data such as logs, versions, checksums and specific tests.
3. Backup and recovery
Before making changes, we create a restore point. Then we make the smallest safe change that will fix the cause.
4. Verification
We test the original issue, important pages and relevant features. The cache is cleared and the live result is checked again.
5. Preventing a recurrence
Where necessary, this is followed by updates, access security, monitoring and ongoing WordPress management.
Frequently asked questions about our process
Do I need to include my password?
No. Never send passwords through the public form. If we need access, we'll agree on a secure way to share it.
Do you make changes without consulting me?
No. After the initial assessment, we'll let you know what we've found and what we recommend. We won't carry out the repair until you approve it, and then we'll only do what's necessary.
Why make a backup first?
A restore point ensures there's always a way back if a change doesn't work out as expected. That's why we make a backup before every change.
What if the cause can't be found?
We'll be honest about that. We never present suspicions as proven causes, and we'll report back on what we've been able to verify and what's still uncertain.
